The NFL is probably trying to get their ducks in a row because whatever they decide will be scrutinized all to hell by the media and appealed. It should be as simple as suspending him until further notice, but that's not the world we live in.

In regard to the Jets, as good as he is, I doubt Brown will be the difference in a win or loss for us.  He more likely the difference in a clear loss vs. a blowout loss.

Has anyone tried to say that these texts were not confirmed to be from him/photoshopped?  Seems someone is always crying about fakes.  I would assume he'd have said that by now if they were faked.

I just hope Goodell waiting to do anything means brown gets suspended for the post season instead

And I'm okay with them not having suspended him. I understand this whole me too nonsense is taking over, but let due process and innocent until proven guilty still be things. An allogation shouldn't be enoguh to sink you, even if you are a lowlife piece of trash like Brown.

As Heismanberg pointed out the other day, the moment he threatened his GM was the point at which he should have found himself on the Commissioner's List. It's unacceptable for any player to be threatening violence towards a member of staff.

If the NFL was serious about wanting to discipline him, he would be on the Comissioners exempt list right now while they were investigating. They’re probably looking for every reason possible to let him off because admitting AB is a psychotic scumbag is a bad look for the league. And Goodell is a coward.

If Zeke got 4 games for getting blackmailed by a chick, that has to at least be the starting point. They use past precedent set a lot in these drug/PED/DV cases

Rapaheet: The #Patriots have released WR Antonio Brown, as he indicated on Twitter. They have moved on.
