I'd feel better if we'd just sign some old journeyman kicker everyone knows.  At least you'd know he's been successful at some point.  I don't care if he can hit a 60 yarder, just reliably hit a 30-40 yarder.  Is Morton Andersen still alive?  Bet he could hit a 30 yarder blindfolded holding a bourbon glass at 65 years old off the couch

I subscribe to the Joe and Evan podcast to listen occasionally. He was on the show today. I didn't listen, but I guarantee Joe asked him to come out of retirement.

Anderson seemed like a cool dude. He said he hasn't kicked a football since 2007. Said his planting leg was more important and it's shot, so he couldn't make a long kick. On the flip side he did guarantee he could make an 35 yard extra point.

Maybe we'll sign someone else to compete.  Probably too late. 

Weird excrement like this works out sometimes. Honestly, we could sign the best kicker ever and I would assume our team's foul odor would rub off on him and make him start shanking.  Maybe this is the ole' reverse psychology.  Sign the worst guy.

Maybe we just let Mann have both roles.

He hasn’t been horrible in camp, at least not recently. So there’s that.
