Austin looks like he actually belongs. Some seriously impressive play from him today..or maybe my bar has been set really low after watching the crap they have trotted out on the field at CB.
He looks like he tries against the run. Revis was the last CB we drafted that I could say that about. DC is a weak offensive team, I'll wait to see his performance against better players before I start developing an opinion on his coverage. I definitely want to see more of him on the field, though.
Shrine forced a fumble last night for the Bears. I had forgotten about his existence but for his flaws and injuries, the guy was a willing tackler.

Nice to have a starter come from late in the draft. Imagine how gangsta this defense would be if Tru Johnson wasn’t a bag of excrement, our LB were healthy, and we find a decent pass rusher in FA/Draft
Yeah, some of Maccagnan's draftees are starting to look pretty decent. You start to wonder how many of his failures (outside of Hackenberg) were him making excrement picks, and how many were down to Bowles and his staff freaking them up.
