Gamblin’
« on: March 21, 2019, 09:53:54 PM »
Lost big on Auburn and FSU point spreads. Won big on Davidson and Murray St. Farleigh Dickinson not covering +28 fucked me on my overall today.

I would have lost more if I got the LSU - 6.5 bet in before the game started.

Any of you jersey guys doing this legally?

Never been a big gambler, I can think of a lot more fun ways to waste my money.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

I go to the casinos in CT all the time and never gamble, I’m not a table games guy. I’ve never been a big sports betting guy because there aren’t many easy ways to do it, but I find it enjoyable even if I lose money.

I need to stick to sports I know better though. I’ve actually had the most success betting UFC, a couple events ago I went 6-6 picking fights.

Same. Gambling / betting is about the only vice I've never really picked up. I like sitting at a blackjack table in a casino and I like playing poker with friends, but that's about it. Sports betting is huge in the UK and there's at least one bookie's shop on the high street of every podunk little town, but seeing the kind of people who hang out in them is enough to put you off for life.

I'm not knocking it, just not my thing. I used to go to Vegas with some friends around Halloween weekend for the parties and to bet on NFL games at the books, do the parlays, etc. That was fun as a getaway, but some of these guys were on the phone every Sunday placing bets and losing their minds. It's hard enough being a Jet fan, that's why I never did fantasy until I joined the league here last year.
