Not sure how this is any better than the Bills, but I'm sure it will not end well

3rd and a 5th. That's not a terrible deal, I thought it would cost them one of their firsts.

He gets a new 3 year 50.1 million dollar deal. That’s why it’s “better” for Brown.

But more importantly it’s better for us he’s not in the division.
Need a new one for a new board...

Steelers also will be taking on a whopping $21.12 million dead money charge - largest 1 year dead money hit of all time

I think I would have made that trade for Brown. That is about the max I would want to give up, but our offense would look so much different eith a star like Brown to free up Robby and Enunwa. We could have gotten those picks back by trading down from 3.

Brown seems like a head case right now so I understand why they wouldn't pull the trigger. But the Jets have never had a receiver as good as Brown still is.

Of course the price was good. There’s also a reason his market was 4-5 teams

@Spotrac: It’s perfectly possible, if not likely, that the #Raiders offer Le’Veon Bell the exact same 3 year, $50M-ish, $30M-ish guaranteed contract in a few days.

The trade compensation — a third and a fifth going to the #Steelers — wasn’t an issue. Several teams were willing to give that or more. The contract was the issue. In the end, Antonio Brown got his old deal ripped up and redone, a rarity. His demands limited the pool to 1 team.

The Steelers' loss to Blake Bortles in the playoffs will now officially go down as the last game that Ben, Bell, and Brown ever played together.
