When your arms are long, it's hard to put up that many reps. And it means Metcalf's numbers are equally ridiculous, if not more ridiculous.

Bottom line, they're both ridiculously strong.

Given that Metcalf did 9 more reps and Butlers arms are less than 1/2 and inch longer I would say relative strength goes to Metcalf don’t you?

It’s harder when your arms are long and skinny. Metcalf has the physique of a bodybuilder. It’s like comparing Durant and Lebron on the bench press.

Yes Metcalf has more relative strength, but benching is mechanically harder for Butler. Doing 225 BP for max reps is just as much about stamina as strength, IMO.

They're both very physical players too, so that strength translates over to the game.

There's three early round skill players that has a skillset that meshes with what Sam Darnold does well:

DK Metcalf
JJ Arcega-Whiteside
Hakeem Butler

These are physical, 50/50 ball winners.  Deontay Burnett has a lot of that in his game, but he isn't a big, physical target like these three have shown.

N’Keal fit into that grouping, in terms of skillset? Not as strong as the others though

I don't like N'Keal as much as others.  I think he'll struggle to separate.

That’s what I’ve read about him, and that he is more of a 50/50 type. But it doesn’t seem like he has that physical aspect in his game compared to the others. He’s a great “go up and get it” type receiver.

Yeah, because he has to go up and get it because he can't get away from anyone.

I've seen him do some really good things after the catch on screen plays, but he has a really hard time separating as a routing runner.

We really need to trade back and acquire picks.  There's gonna be some solid talent available in the 2nd round.

There’s gonna be some premium talent there at positions of need - OL, WR. Lesser needs, but there should be some really good TE and DL prospects there too.
