I’m fairly confident that under “normal circumstances” once the new coach is hired he can choose to interview members of the previous regimes staff if he so chooses and they don’t fire people until that happens so as not to reprocess all the paperwork credentials etc. once a new HC chooses to not retain a member of the staff then he’s officially fired. It’s rare but occasionally happens. Brant Boyer stuck around after Bowles. West Goff was here for how many coaching changes?
