Kyler Murray (Future #1 Pick) entering 2019 NFL Draft - A Hype Train Thread

Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Kyler Murray is reportedly leaning toward entering the 2019 NFL draft and playing football next season rather than immediately pursuing a baseball career with the Oakland Athletics, who selected him with the ninth overall pick in the 2018 MLB draft.

On Wednesday, Bleacher Report's Matt Miller reported on the latest edition of the Stick To Football podcast that talk about Murray staying with football has been "heating up."

I have yet to see a QB prospect fail because they were too short so If Im a GM that needs a QB I’d roll the dice. They way NFL offenses are trending, height is less of an issue. Didn’t look like Baker’s height was an issue this year. Would you rather try and develop Murray or Lamar Jackson?

According to a source close to the situation, Kyler Murray’s number is $15M.

He wants big time money to stick with baseball, otherwise he will enter the NFL draft tomorrow.

The A’s are doing everything they can, sending their top brass, led by Billy Beane, to meet with him.

@JasonOTC: A $15M contract for Kyler Murray would be on par with being the 14th pick in the NFL draft.
