i just dont know why you wouldnt use your established incredibly successful reliever instead of the starter with a poor history in october who has trouble with the first few batters.

i dont know why youd push it with kelly when he has been pretty terrible in multi-inning situations.

reminds me of dusty baker pulling out russ ortiz in game 6 in the 2002 world series, despite him freaking dealing. an absolutely terrible decision that never should have been made or even considered at that point. you dont make gimmicky moves in the playoffs, and a string of them should rightfully put your derriere in the hot seat.

Can't argue with this. Like I said last year we had a lead in Game 4 of the World Series, ready to tie it up and he takes out Hill who was pitching a great game. I'm telling you why I think Roberts did it, I think with the bullpen we have we should have used those guys. You make moves like putting Kershaw in when you don't have a good bullpen and you can see the finish line. Or when you get to 3-3 in the 10th and you have a starter for basically a new game who can last a few innings.

All that said, we didn't score after Kike's homer in the second inning. I thought Smith's shot in the 9th was going but it wasn't to be.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

I wholeheartedly agree with Roberts decision to bring in Kershaw. You live and die with your best...

...which is why his decision to ride Joe Kelly for as long as he did and not go to Kenley was horrible. Really really bad.

Kenley has also given up a lot of leads via the home run this year, but he likely wouldn't have loaded the bases first.

I heard on the FAN that the Mets organization thought that him and Brodie Van Wagenen’s styles would clash.

Turned on the game because of this post, just in time to see greaseball Reddick get on with a bloop single

Should probably just turn it off now

Wow what an awful call on Turner “interfering” running to first. Nats go from 2nd and 3rd with no outs to a man on 1B and 1 out.
