The Jets are working out RB Bilal Powell today, per source. Powell is working his way back from a neck injury. Maybe his time with the Jets is not over. #nyj

I would be more comfortable bringing in another veteran body in camp to compete with McGuire and Montgomery. Bilal Powell can fill the Thomas Rawls role, or he can potentially beat out Montgomery.

If Gase can get Bell and Powell/Montgomery in a split backfield, it can dictate coverage.

It’s a way to create mismatches for Herndon and Crowder.  It also creates 1v1 opportunities for Robby.
