Joe Douglas isn't going to give up a ransom for him.

At minimum the guys going to want to be the highest paid safety in the league

Plus Arizona isn't going to give the guy away for nothing. Especially considering he's under contract  for 2 more years, before having the very affordable safety tag on the table

JD will always get his price or he moves on

And as far as the contract goes....who cares. People that are smarter than you are taking care of the cap.

These are as bad as ours.

There's literally zero effort going into designing the current incarnation of jerseys, how long are we stuck with this excrement before we can get a company willing to produce something interesting?

agree with you, it looks like they took a 'color rush' style approach to their new jerseys, and the white away jerseys are a blatant copy of the 49ers white color rush jerseys (which i actually think are one of the best jerseys in the league).

the lack of creativity for moves so paramount to the 'brand' of a team is kind of unacceptable from nike imo. our current helmet logo legitimately could have been planned conceptually by a toddler. 'let's write out jets and have a little jumbo football underneath the name!'

I feel like I'm the only one who thought their previous jersey was completely fine. At least compared to everyone on /r/NFL.

I would have to assume this is more of an issue with the 70+ year old owners having no style than Nike not knowing how to design

I think it's a lot more to do with the current crop of creatives obsessed with "flat" design. Look at everyone's latest logos--any industry. They're becoming flatter in color and depth. Google got the ball rolling in UI when they moved Android to "Material Design" which is just another term for "flat and boring."

I don't attribute any of the blame here to the owners. I'd say this ball is entirely in Nike's creative court.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well
