That's about as textbook a hit as you'll see - shoulder to the chest to separate man from puck. I'd like to see a rule brought in that the League automatically reviews all fights instigated as a result of a hit and if the check is deemed to be clean, the instigator receives an automatic game ban.
That couldn't happen quick enough for me and yeah he caught the guy with a great hit.
This isn't a homer thing either, if a Rangers player has his head down and gets clobbered, here's an idea, keep your head up or applaud the other player for the hit.
