Sprint to the podium to take Jawaan Taylor

I’m just so concerned with him not being a practiced blind side protector. Slides from the right vs the left are polar opposites (duh) and some people just can’t transition. The process in theory seems easy but like being a RCB and a LCB at the corner position, some guys just can’t make the transition.

On a side note, if we did take Taylor I imagine we immediately try to trade Beachum. So the question becomes, what would he be worth?

The 49ers run a 4-3? Must have switched with the Shanahan hire. First time I looked at their depth chart.

They have Arik Armstead and Solomon Thomas listed as their starting DE’s. Assuming Dee Ford will play DE for them too. DeForest Buckner and a guy I’ve never heard of listed as their starting DT’s.

After scanning 49ers beat writer accounts (could only find a couple, let me know if you have reliable ones) it sounds like they don’t know what they’re doing. Looks like a majority of fans and media want Bosa.

Also sounds like they play a wide 9.

It isn’t a 1 yr rental for them.

It’s a get out of jail free after 1 year if need be. There’s a big difference. If he’s the guy they think they are getting he’s well worth it. If he is t they have a huge out. Dude has to keep working to continue getting paid

I agree, but the way free agency has turned out I would be surprised if he passed on an Edge again. He resigned the great white hope and didn't sign and edge rusher... I just don't know how he can pass on a prospect that is marginally a lesser prospect but at a much more significant position and one that is a huge need.

Not ready to put him over Rosen yet but just a reminder both of those guys went top 10 last year in a more QB abundant draft class.
