I think we're going to finish 3-13...which could put us anywhere between the #2 or #6 pick. Is Polite top 5 worthy?

the higher we climb, the more i want to ransom the pick to some QB needy team and move back.

There’s not a QB that anyone will be willing to trade up for.  Someone might want to move up for a pass rusher...

Polite is a top five prospect to me.

It’ll be interesting to see if we hire a head coach or DC that runs a 4-3.

We could be in a spot to get Ed Oliver or Quinnen Williams to play next to Leo...

This is the draft to get a pass rusher.

If Maccagnan or whoever is our GM is doesn’t come away with one this offseason, it will be a failure.

Bosa, Polite, Ferrell, Burns, and Allen are all Top 10 talents on the edge.

I'm down.

Would like to also get a Brick type LT that can look out for Darnold long term, now that we have Darnold.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

Sucks there’s no elite offensive talent but this list is boners

Jonah Williams should be a top 10 pick and Greg Little top 15-20. They both look to be good LT prospects but I don’t think either will be BPA where we end up picking. I feel the same way about the WR prospects

I’m in the trade down camp.

At this moment in time I only see us being able to trade down if we’re picking and Herbert or Bosa is available. Don’t think anyone is trading up for a DT in a stacked class

Granted, while understanding that the priority needs to be focused on protecting Sam...do we really want to trade down if Bosa is on the board? Take the elite player and run.

But then duff gets no credit for the draft pick

Nick Bosa is a cornerstone player.

He has the ability to get 10+ sacks immediately.

You don’t pass on him.

No, I would not pass on Bosa.

Edit: I didn’t think about it too much in the scenario in that post because I think he’ll go 1 if Herbert doesn’t.

I think he's the first off the board as well considering the teams in the top 3 (Raiders, Cardinals, 49ers) won't be looking for a quarterback.

Honestly of the excrement teams "competing" with the Jets in the battle of futility, the teams that strike me as possibilities to either take Herbert in front of us or trade up for him seem to be the Giants, Denver and possible the Bucs depending on how Jameis looks for the rest of the season.
