I've mentioned before I have an nfl jersey collection, so I'm picking playoff games based on sweetness of my jerseys. That means wins for Peter Warrick (Cinci), Robert Brooks (GB), Ricky Watters (Philly), and the great Derrick Thomas (KC).

Robert Brooks (GB)

His nephew is one of my players.  Hell of a receiver too.

Not in college.

I still think Warrick or Vick should've won the '99 Heisman.  Better statistics, my derriere.  Give it to the best, most talented player.

1999-2001 = worst stretch of Heisman winners in my lifetime, and I freaking love Eric Crouch

1999:  Ron Dayne over Joe Hamilton/Michael Vick/Chad Pennington/Peter Warrick
2000:  Chris Weinke over LaDainian Tomlinson/Drew Brees/Michael Vick
2001:  Eric Crouch over David Carr/Kenny Dorsey/Antwan Randle El

Warrick was a monster at FSU. If not for injuries, he could have had a good NFL career too, even just as a returner and #2 WR.

Screw Crouch.

The Packers and Bengals also needed an extension, but no word yet on how it worked out for any of them.

At least the packers have a good excuse. They were talking about the weather forecast for that game. A high of...  -3 degrees for the day. A low of -20

Cant imagine going to a game with weather that miserable before. Kind of weather where you need to legitimately worry about getting frostbite

Still no excuse. It's the playoffs!

Still no excuse. It's the playoffs!

Their team spokesman said they just expanded the stadium for this year (7,000 + seats) so without them it would have sold out long ago.

Pretty impressive all things considering.

Imagine a Giants playoff game with that kind of forecast. It would be as empty the Bills or Browns playing at Jacksonville

Hypothetical:  Jets have opening round playoff game at home.  You have free tickets.  Game time temp = -30°F.  Do you go?
