So how many millions did Macc unwittingly make Rhule by not allowing him to pick Sean Ryan as his OC? I mean seriously.

Rhule went from turning down the Jets because he couldn't pick his coaching staff to getting carte blanche and paid like he's already won a super bowl.

My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

Luke Kuechly retires???!!?!?!!!????

We are seeing quite a few greats hang them up early due to injuries.

Wonder if he had made this decision before the new coach was announced and if any one could have convinced him to continue.

Can’t blame him though, he’s made a lot of money, competed in a super bowl, and sees the reset button being pushed. Meaning he is at least a few years from competing for a title again, assuming everything goes well.
Need a new one for a new board...

Panthers just hired Joe Brady from LSU as OC.

he won the assistant of the year this year, and is headed to the nfl as an oc in his 5th year as a coach.

I don't know his finances, but considering he's well into his second contract, I think it's a matter of wanting to be able to live the rest of his life pain free while still never having to work, or for that matter even touch his principal if he's invested wisely for the rest of his life.

No one wants to end up like Earl Campbell or God forbid, Junior Seau.

I don't blame the Johnson's

If Matt Rhule wanted to hire a first time OC at any level and a DC who has never coached in the pros I wouldn't be okay with it either.  Even if that OC is Brady, that is way too much inexperience at the pro-level to be successful.

I fully expect Joe Judge to be more successful than Rhule at this point.

Why is it inherently doomed to failure?

Cam given permission to seek a trade, Panthers apparently "very interested" in former Jets legend Teddy B.

Can Cam even pass a physical?!
