Daryl Williams, starting RT for the Panthers probably tore something important in his knee and will be out for the season I'm sure.

The reason I bring this up is that he was likely due for a big contract this coming offseason because he's been really good.  This is exactly the type of player Duff would go after next year if the Panthers decide to bail on signing him because of the injury.  He'll be 26 years old in August, has played well and will be coming off injury (but will have had a whole year to recover).  That's a Duff special if I've ever seen it.

#Panthers CB Ross Cockrell reportedly suffered a gruesome leg injury, per media there.

Supposedly could *hear* a bone break after collision with Torrey Smith. Yikes.

The last 3 times Cam Newton played 16 games, the team went 12-4, 15-1, and 11-5.
