A helicopter hit a building a couple of blocks from my office. I heard the copter (sounded way too close) then a few minutes later the sirens started. They've been going for probably 15 minutes now.

I don't know where Koz works, but I know he's close to me. Hope he's okay.

Depending where he lives, yeah. My understanding was it was at 51st Street and 7th Avenue. So depending on how close he is to 7th, he could have been within 2 blocks.

Yeah. I heard that he was radioing for help because he was lost. I saw some video of his flight, and he was passing in and out of really thick fog. He wasn't licensed to fly solo either. Sad.

He was also flying in restricted airspace, being too close to Trump's Tower. No, I'm not kidding. It was literally made restricted airspace not long after he was sworn in. I didn't know that until yesterday.
