Well....given that you have pre-conceived notions that every WR in the draft will end up like Stephen Hill, I thought you'd benefit from learning about the prospects first....before giving an opinion.

But if you still believe that the entire draft is a lottery......sadly, you're beyond rehabilitation.

That's not what I said. But since we already have a high pick/project on the roster at WR, why not get a proven player there? Especially if we're not going to have Tone.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

We haven't selected a WR with our first pick since Santana Moss, right?

I'm not against getting a proven player there.  But the draft is loaded with WR talent this year.  I'd rather play the lottery for that position *rolls eyes*

Why not go for both?

Just because the Hill experiment is careening towards failure doesn't mean that the Jets should ignore the position in the draft.

Seafood would rather trade our entire draft class for Larry Fitzgerald.  Proven players, babbie.

I honestly believe Nelson is a legit #2 and Kerley is a legit slot receiver. I'd like the Jets to spend the first two picks on an elite receiver talent and a tight end. That's completely subject to change if somehow Idzik brings in a guy like Larry Fitz prior to the draft, but realistically, that's how I'd like to kick off the draft.

If a McCarron falls to them, I'd be hard-pressed not to pull the trigger myself, but for now, I'd rather just build in the weapons and see if Geno continues to mature.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

Nelson is a legit #2... for this team.

We're going to move up to 13 and take Mike Evans once he slides into the teens.

Nelson isn't a legit #2.  He could be one in a pinch but we need better than that.  I think Kerley will be good in the slot.

Kerley is a legit slot receiver on any team but Nelson as a #2 is easily upgradeable. I'd like to see the Jets make a run at Golden Tate to fill the #2 role and draft someone for the #1 spot.

I was worried about us drafting too low and missing out on all the great WRs.

Would you trade yesterday's win for the 11th pick?

Ask me that question again in April.

Ask me that question again in April.

Why?  We got a win over our (historically) biggest rival and knocked them out of the playoffs.

I feel as though you've been posting the same thought for weeks and just swapping out different positions.
