If Ryan isn't extended, that will also be pretty big.

I think we'll see a new defensive coordinator and a bunch of new offensive staff members (I think Lynn and Lal are gone).

Getting rid of Lal would be a terrible decision. He has made chicken salad out of chicken excrement the whole year.

I don't see Lynn getting canned.

His contract is expiring.  These guys aren't getting fired.

Idzik wasnt a presser, it was an interview with that chick on SNY (coachley?)

Idzik didnt say anything special. Rollercoaster season, him and Rex had a good rapport since day 1, he wont discuss Rex's contract discussions publicly, was talking about evaluating college bowlgames and getting ready for the draft.

Said he was happy that we played well in a "playoff like atmosphere"

How?  Our passing game has been derriere.  David Nelson was a nice find, but that's about it.

Stephen Hill hasn't progressed at all.

It looks like it won't be changing much from last week.  More win.

Kerley has progressed well this season, contributions from guys like Nelson and Salas. The receivers are on par with last year in terms of talent, to me this year the offense has been leaps and bounds better than that abomination of last year.

Woody Johnson Speaking

"Rex coming back, 5 years looking at Rex it was pretty obvious that he was coming back" "Very proud of the last month, were the youngest team in the league i think, nice to see offensive players step up"

"says its the best coaching job Rex has done" "Wont discuss contracts" "Such a bright future with a young team"

"Johnson talking about Idziks extreme emphasis on the draft, and how were gonna know everything about every player since birth"

Confirms that they decided Rex would be back LAST MONTH. And he mentioned Rex is under contract, so theyre speculating Rex might have to play out the final year of his deal

(i like how Idzik and Johnson BOTH talked about the draft in their interviews)

Woody:  "proud of Geno growth....and feeding his really good receivers"

Of course he said that last part with a smirk.

Hubbuch said the Dolphins radio call sounded like a suicide hotline.

Do we draft ahead of Miami despite finishing second in the AFCE?

Since both teams are 8-8 the next tie breaker is SOS...not where you finish in the division.

So the Jets should draft ahead of the Fins based on SOS.

Thought so, thats kinda awesome how that works out.

Finish higher in the division AND get the better pick

Completely unrealistic but one of the guys mentioned Rex having no excuses not to  win if we get weapons like Jimmy Graham from New Orleans...

Rex points out that he thinks that Milliners play has really picked up since we signed Ed Reed, and that he always follows him and sits next to him in meetings and excrement
