One thing thats a potential issue though. Is im hearing rumblings theyll let Rex play out the 1 year on his deal without extending him, fine, I understand that. But we have like 7 position coaches whose contracts are expiring.

What the heck are they going to do about that ? You cant expect all of them to sign 1 year deals, nobody wants a 1 year deal.
And you cant blow up the coaching staff yet again, and then if you (likely) fire Rex in a year because the teams not great with a whole new coaching staff, have to replace the entire coaching staff for a 3rd time in 3 years?

Not how you build a team, should be really interesting to see how Idzik handles it all

I think this means that Idzik first year evaluation process has ended up being pretty positive and he thinks we're going to be competing for the playoffs next year.

No more excuses for Rex; if he can't make the playoffs with Idzik's roster next season he's out.

I think we'll see a new defensive coordinator and a bunch of new offensive staff members (I think Lynn and Lal are gone).
