^^that's definitely all about money

the fact that ownership is forcing management to avoid amazing deals because of money, in what is the biggest market in america, is an absolute travesty

the mets have the worst owners in the league. they are criminals

selig took the dodgers away from the mccourt family for a lot less, but would never do the same to the wilpons, who he's buddy-buddy with. the wilpons have been bleeding the mets dry to cover for the losses they amassed due to their own dealings with madoff, and they've been doing this for years, yet nobody is doing anything about it

fvcking criminals

Nimmo is set to be one of the more valuable contributors for the Mets for the next couple of seasons - his plate discipline is a plus skill especially for his age. Interesting to see how Callaway will balance playing time the roster - so far he is going for a ton of rotation, but I'm not sure if that is a long term strategy for success. A lot of players like more regular playing time.

He got him. First hit. Two-run opposite field shot.

i'm not buying into this yet as i think there are still a lot of holes in the way this team has been constructed, but obviously happy with the results.

i'm liking most of what callaway is doing so far. the only thing i've disagreed with is playing reyes twice over rosario in the past 3 games

Zack Wheeler has been named the starter for Wednesday's game in Miami.

This means that for the first time ever Syndergaard, deGrom, Harvey, Matz, and Wheeler will make a rotation turn together.
