The Houston Chronicle's Brent Zwerneman reports that Texas A&M will fire HC Kevin Sumlin following Saturday's game against LSU.
Per Zwerneman, Sumlin will be terminated whether or not the Aggies come through with a win against the Tigers over the holiday weekend. When the Chronicle broached the report during Sumlin's press conference on Tuesday, the coach responded, "I haven't heard that." According to Zwerneman's reportage, it has not yet been determined exactly when Sumlin will receive the axe once his squad has played LSU -- only that it will, indeed, happen.
