Spurs embarrassed themselves yesterday. I already made my feelings abundantly clear on a spurs board I post on so there is no need to expound on embarrassed.

^^still don't understand why spurs decided to buy paulinho PLUS capoue when they already have sandro and dembele vying for the same 2 positions that all of them would play in

guiness i remember you speaking about townsend last season in a thread on YDKF; good shout. looks a nice player and very direct coming in from the right.

by the way international breaks are the freaking worst. i hate how there are 2 EARLY 2-week breaks to start off the season every freaking year.

I'm assuming you're talking a Townsend not called Andros, because he looked freaking atrocious when he was on loan at Leeds and Birmingham.

Townsend is a very useful player. JE, the Townsend you're thinking of was a teenager, the Townsend DS is referring to is the one who looked good last year, and then even better after he was loaned to Ol Twitchy.

He needs to stay within himself. He has looked like their most dangerous player but sometime he thinks he's some kind of Bale 2.0. The last 2 games he has been passing more which I like to see. When he is not a one-dimensional shooter, he can really jump on the opposing defenders because his dribbling skills are pretty top notch. Problem on Sunday was, why the freak is Defoe is starting. Dropping Soldado was a big tactical mistake by AVB. And, this team needs Capoue back. And, frankly, I'd like to see Paulinho and Sandro play together.

Moyes is making himself a very popular figure so far.

i think man utd give moyes at least 2 seasons before they ever decide to do anything with him, if a 'decision' regarding him is even necessary after that period

anyhow, i didn't watch the game myself but apparently townsend tore it up when he played for england the other day. some were even saying spurs have found their next 'bale' which i feel is a bit over the top lol. regardless, he's looked very promising so far

he has some really bad hair though. lol

Montenegro loses Vucinic to injury a few days before the big game. Lost to England 4-1. The WC dream is over. I hope England shits the bed.
