i might be in the minority but i like the flexibility of perriman @ 1/8 and going WR with some of our early picks in the draft as opposed to giving robby 4/40

he was a good/serviceable player for us, but i still have enough fears about his idiocy/dumbassery to be wary of relying on him dependably throughout a 4 year contract. the contract JD offered him probably contained some early 'outs' if things came up

Robby Anderson's agent would have to be retarded not to take that deal.  It's twice as much money with what has to be a bigger guarantee.

i can see robby going against his agent's advice and making the decision to go to Carolina himself since he's kind of retarded

Robby said Boomer's claim that he turned down the 4 year, $40M contract from the Jets was fake news

#Jets were willing to give Anderson $10 million per. The #Panthers essentially are giving Anderson a guaranteed 1-year, $12-million deal.

Douglas has a price he’s willing to pay for players. And a price he’s not.

$12m was simply not something he was willing to do.

Ok. I think JD likes this receiver class. Normally I would feel like I’m jynxing us here but our previous GM’s have been so bad at it maybe that’s what we need

We've had so much bad luck at drafting receivers that I feel like, once we finally hit on one, that that player is going to be an absolute stud.

We are just going to re-draft Jalen Saunders and Shaq Evans.

We are just going to re-draft Jalen Saunders and Shaq Evans.
Shaq Evans training camp (SUNY-Cortland) story:  the WRs came out onto the field carrying/palming these painted mini (half-width) cinderblocks that they'd "palm" when they weren't doing drills ostensibly for grip strength purposes.  Each player had his own pair of mini cinderblocks (with the player's number painted on them). Anyway, when they finished practice this one day, there were Shaq's cinderblocks sitting all by their lonesome out on the field - Shaq being the only one who left his 'stones' behind while all the other WRs trudged off the field squeezing theirs.  Evans was actually on the Biletnikoff watch list his final year at UCLA (currently CFL-Saskatchewan).

What was was also noteworthy that day were the coaches working overtime with Jace Amaro after practice.....to the naked eye the big lug looked brittle and stiff, both legs and hands....what did Idzik see in him (and Mike Francesa who doesn't know squat about NCAA football but who blindly touted the guy as well).  Covid cabin fever rambling... done

I thought Jace Amaro was going to be a bonafide stud and was so pumped when he fell to us and we actually picked him
