I know we're all biased here, and he's a different kind of player than these two. But do you think Adams is on track to be in the same category as guys like Polamalu and Reed?

I mean for a while it seemed like Pryor was a special player, and now he's not even in the league

pryor showed flashes at certain times of his career but i never thought/felt he was anything near a 'special' caliber player

Pryor looked like a solid starter in his second season.  Jamal Adams was the best safety in the NFL during his second season.

Pryor was only special when he lined somebody up and knocked their head off. Which I believe only happened like 5 times here. The rest of the time he was ordinary as a player and clearly didnít have enough brains, work ethic or physical ability (or some combination of the 3) to become an actual player in the league.

Good thing we passed on Brandin Cooks for him.

^ +1.  LeRon Landry 2.0, overpursued, took bad angles, susceptible to cut backs and didn't have Sean Taylor as a crutch.

Nor did he have the biceps. Must have been on the wrong gas.

Michael Nania @Michael_Nania

Jamal Adams has collected 18 tackles for loss and 18 passes defended over his first two years in the league.

Since 1999 (when TFLs were first tracked), Adams is one of only two players to post 18+ TFL and 18+ PD over their first two seasons, along with:

J.J. Watt.

I posted this in the Training Camp thread, but it probably belongs here.

If you love Jamaal Adams (and if you don't, please kindly GFY), the first quarter-or-so of week 2 of One Jets Drive is porn.

Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick. I want my team to win games and draft well.

Imagine having CJ Mosley on your defense instead of Darron Lee
