Some guy on reddit who apparently had the Pryor signing first said his source said about Jets interest in QB:

1) Josh Allen is purely a media rumor, he's not even being thought about at 3

2) Josh Rosen is #1 on their "draft board". They're "enamored" and they wouldn't have made the Colts trade if they didn't have confidence he'd be there at 3. If Rosen isn't there it's not 100% they'd take a QB.

That guy is getting swooned over as some kind of deep throat when in fact all he did was post that Pryor was going to sign a 1 year / $6M contract about half an hour before it was on Twitter. Now he claims he has a source inside the FO and is talking about our draft strategy. One of two things is the case here:

1. He got a snippet from a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy and is now making up bullshit as part of his claim to be connected, in which case he's a queynte, or

2. He's actually connected and he's sharing information about our draft strategy on the internet, in which case he's a queynte.

Putting the contract aside (which you can't really do, but whatever), Wentz would be an ideal trade candidate if the plan is to stick with Darnold.

However, if we take DeVonta Smith at 2, Douglas should be fired on the spot. We would have to trade down from 2 if we're taking a non-QB (and if we're giving up an asset for Wentz).
