Lizzy Caplan is doing a pretty spot-on Annie Wilkes on Castle Rock.

Isn't she decent looking? She put on a fat suit?

As soon as I heard about Disney+ I vowed wasn't going to pay for yet another streaming service, and that I'd be pirating their content out of spite.

My wife signed us up for 3 years, guess I'll be watching The Mandalorian now.

Apparently they offered three years for the price of one and she's splitting the account with a coworker.

Also you have young children and there's no way that a household with young children isn't going to end up with the Disney service, and you were kidding yourself all along.

Why would anyone pay for ESPN? They literally have nothing to offer.

Also Disney + is free with Verizon unlimited plans for those applicable

They're not old enough to know better yet, when they want to watch something I don't feel like I just say "oh they don't have that right now."

I have Hulu without ads now, so I won't be doing the bundle. We're getting the free year with Verizon, and that's the only reason we're even getting Disney+.

Cord-cutting is going to end up more expensive than cable.

Unless you are a true cheap derriere and rotate your cord cutting.

A month of Netflix, then Hulu, Disney etc etc.

With the way streaming works it encourages you to rotate

Yeah, I was thinking about that. That's got to be the next wave once the excitement of so many services slows down.

Though honestly, I can't see how Netflix stays in business, and eventually I figure Hulu will just be wrapped into Disney+ because anything non-Disney will be pulled back to its own distribution house.

Really, I wouldn't be shocked if in 5 years everyone is back complaining about spending so much money a month on cable to get 350 channels of foreign TV.

Netflix has really started to make most of their best programming. Maybe they'll have a few more years of (international) growth before they inevitably lose viewers.

They'll almost certainly have to partner with one of the other giants, or become more of a niche product. But as of right now Disney is really the only serious contender for the short term, I think

It used to blow my mind when Werner Herzog popped up in mainstream stuff but I guess that's just kind of his deal now.
