The prosecutors in former President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial in the Senate plan to introduce new evidence against him, senior aides said.

Aides said there is evidence that Trump not only laid the groundwork for the Jan. 6 Capitol complex riot, but that he also “incited it further” once the violence began.

And aides said it is possible that Republican senators will decide to vote to convict Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol complex, and bar him from holding the presidency ever again, once they hear that evidence.

“Once they see that this President did in fact incite a violent insurrection in order to hold onto power, I think it very well may be the case that reluctant senators change their mind and vote to convict,” aides told reporters, hours before the trial was set to kick off Tuesday afternoon.

I'll believe it when I see it.  He's not getting convicted.  Probably 3-4 Republicans at most vote to convict.  He could be on tape confirming under oath that he incited the riot on purpose while pissing on the Constitution and almost all the Republican senators will find a way to vote no so they don't lose votes from the psychos in their home states.
