Suspending evictions longer is fine, but not without consequences. Smaller landlords may go delinquent on their mortgages with no rent money coming in. Not saying they are more important than renters, but there are consequences. There needs to be some sort of temporary rent assistance instead of delaying evictions so money flows to landlords to help prevent downstream complications.
Extending student loan forbearance needs to be done properly so they aren't punished on credit reports for not making payments. That was done with the CARES act, but no indication it will be here. We'll see.
Payroll tax holiday is the dumbest of all. It doesn't help people without jobs, it worsens the social security and medicare deficits, and isn't even real, just a delay. Employers may not even stop withholding it in fear of being unable to pay if it all comes due at once later on, so you may get no temporary benefit.
This is just Trump trying to throw money at a problem without authority to do so and in a retarded manner that will create more problems than it helps. Again, it's an effort to appear like he's helping, for political reasons. As usual, he's just an idiot seagull flying in, shitting all over everything, and flying away.
