“Telling me?” “Worthless?”  On the contrary, I illustrated the fact that this (as I put it) “horrific epidemic’s” pathology was/is national in scope.  Whether it’s political hyper-partisanship or an acutely assuming nature that in your mind gives you unencumbered latitude to interpret or define my post in a narrative you see fit doesn’t dispel my national-in-scope observation. 

Seems more my ‘observation’ doesn’t sate a desire to politically berate, i.e. the observation[/] doesn’t fit the narrative.

You're the one who introduced voting records alongside a useless stat to try and make it a "both sides bad" argument. I'm simply showing you that the more correct way of using the stats demonstrate it to overwhelmingly be a problem of right wing states.

Thirty eight percent of white adults view gun violence as a big problem vs. sixty percent of Hispanic adults and an overwhelming 82% of Black adults (source: Pee Center) who overwhelmingly voted for Biden.  It is a ‘national epidemic’ and while gun laws vary from state to state guns as a whole are a problem coast to coast.
