Yeah but if they lose to Oakland this week, they're fucked as Oakland now holds the tie breaker over them. And excluding division leaders there's 5 teams with 8 wins in the afc.

I assume Indy will still get to 10 wins, but now you suddenly have 5 other teams that can potentially tie you, with at least one having a guaranteed tied breaker

Baltimore also would have the tie breaker over them.

I'll assume that Oakland or the Chargers get the second, with both teams playing each other week 18 (and the loser probably being eliminated)

Then it comes down to Indy or the Ravens. And the Ravens would have to beat both the Rams and the Steelers.

So I guess Indy *probably still makes the playoffs, assuming they beat Jacksonville

This is where I'll actually agree with the sentiment from the covid thread and say this excrement is all about the money. Obviously the nfl has denialabilty since the cdc issued the guidelines

But a 5 day quarantine time means you could test a dude on Monday, and have him back by Sunday. Thus players won't have to miss games, especially playoff games
