Sure. Patients are also informed that some medical procedures, if they go horribly wrong can result in their death. Doesn’t stop people from suing doctors then either.

But either way the NFLPA is looking into it. I just hope Taylor is ok and will be able to continue his career
Need a new one for a new board...

Herbert officially named Chargers’ starter for the rest of the season. Hope the Chargers’ is up to date on their malpractice insurance.

Chargers hired Rams DC Brandon Staley as head coach.

The Chargers flew under the radar with this one, as most had Bills OC Brian Daboll as the favorite for the job. Perhaps Buffalo moving on another week and the Rams losing this weekend played a part in Staley getting the job, but it's a very interesting hire nonetheless. Staley just wrapped up his first season as the Rams' defensive boss after coming over from the Broncos where he was the OLBs coach. It's a very fast rise for the 38-year-old, whose defense was No. 1 in many categories this season. Simply put, Staley has to nail his OC hire with the Bolts, as keeping Justin Herbert's arrow screaming upward should be of utmost importance. It's a gutsy hire for the Chargers, and Staley won't even have to pack his bags or change stadiums.

I like Staley. Lot of good things about him. I would have been happy with him as Jets coach

The sister of Chargers owner Dean Spanos has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court to force the sale of the team because of alleged "mounting debt that has imperiled the family’s finances.

Dea Spanos Berberian, who actually owns as much of the team as Dean, alleges that the family trust’s debts and expenses "exceed $353 million," and that "the trust doesn’t have a plan to pay more than $22 million it has pledged to charities." Owners of the team since 1984, the Spanos family has encountered frequent financial difficulties, at least by the standards of NFL owners. Dean and two other siblings issued a statement saying they have no plans to sell. “For the three of us, the Chargers is one of our family’s most important legacies, just as it was for our parents. Unfortunately, our sister Dea seems to have a different and misguided personal agenda.” Obviously we have not heard the last of this.

Forcing the Spanos family to sell would be amazing. If they sold to someone that would then take the team back to where they belong that would be even better.
