Talk about a great Sunday.  Jets soundly beat the Phags, rest of AFCE loses.  Giants lose.  Get to see Brady and Belichick look bitter on SNF.  Glorious.

I was hoping we could ruin their perfect season but always great to see them lose.

we need the Chiefs, Steelers, Texans to keep losing

We just have to win. The rest will take care of itself.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

So...the Dolphins fired Philbin after we destroyed them in London.

Now they've fired their OC, Bill Lazor.

Dolphins QB coach Zac Taylor is Miami's new offensive coordinator, per source. Replaces fired OC Bill Lazor.

You know that organization is run like a clown show. Your post should go in the LOL Dolphins thread too. The only way they could be more of a joke would be, making Suh HC and DC.

Mike Catapano made a couple of plays yesterday, I don't remember having seen him before.

Would be a bonus if Gronk is out for the year

No such luck.  Word is that it's not a huge deal.  Won't miss major time.

I think I read he played 2 snaps last week and like 26 this week.
----------

I'm not sure how much this was a great game or that Miami is just a excrement show. Still, playoff teams need to dominate games against bottom feeder opponents and they did.

Overall I think the coaching was better this week, but that early 4th down call was awful. The defense stepped up big time but had that turned into 7 for Miami we're probably having a vastly different discussion today.

Ivory actually didn't impress me a lot again yesterday. Except that TD run. He completely dominated that run and broke numerous tackles. That's the guy I want to see every week.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

Davis had his snap percentage cut in half.

http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2015/11/demario_davis_loses_playing_time_jets_snap_counts.html

Quote
Davis played 35 of 72 snaps, while Henderson played 28. This hasn't been an ideal contract year for Davis, who will be a free agent after the season.

When Bowles was asked after Sunday's game about the linebacker rotation, he said, "You have to earn playing time around here, and Erin has done that."

Davis is usually on the field every snap, or close to it.

No snaps on D for Dee Milliner.  He's probably playing his last season as a Jet.

No, he'll be here next year.  Salary is fully guaranteed.  He's depth at corner when Cro is gone.  He missed too much time early on to be counted on a lot this year.

Davis, on the other hand might be gone.

Davis falls into that category of, how many LBs can you replace in a single season? We need to replace Pace, Mauldin is solid but not a major pass rushing threat (doesn't mean he isn't the best we have right now though) we have no replacement in house for Harris and you can't count on him beyond next year.
Need a new one for a new board...

The only advantage of keeping Davis here is that he'll have one year in the scheme.  Otherwise it's just as easy to replace him as re-sign him.  He's a free agent unlike Milliner.

The only way Milliner gets cut is if they'd rather have the extra roster spot and are wiling to eat $4 million.
