These are the only days in the last 10 seasons that Jets won and Bills, Dolphins and Patriots all lost:

- Nov. 29, 2015
- Nov. 7, 2010

I'm curious, and I'm sure there's a good football answer to this but I don't know it. Why, given they had a backup center in who clearly couldn't snap the ball very well, did they keep Tannehill in the shotgun rather than have him take the ball under center and drop back?

Dolphins always play a lot of shotgun. They probably didn't want to disrupt their offense.  And there still could be issues snapping under center. I'm sure you've seen fumbled snaps under center before because the quarterback pulled out too early, or the center didn't snap the ball correctly or pulled out too early.

They also fell behind a lot early, and most of their offense is run out of shotgun anyway, so you kind of just hope he figures it out. Snapping under center limits the playbook and might not be that big of an improvement if it's someone who isn't used to playing center.

How many times does the QB have to collect the ball from around his ankles before you decide to try something else though?

A lot, apparently. Maybe if it were a closer game, they would have.

Talk about a great Sunday.  Jets soundly beat the Phags, rest of AFCE loses.  Giants lose.  Get to see Brady and Belichick look bitter on SNF.  Glorious.

Steelers losing was huge too.

Would have been slightly better if the Colts and/or Texans lost.

they were equally afraid of the pass rush. hes been taking more sacks than Sasha Gray (sp?) they probably felt more comfortable with him fielding shitty snaps than him getting hit any more than he already was.

i think they were trying some quick short to intermediate routes, but the coverage was pretty solid most game and he just holds onto the ball forever.

thats the only logical explanation. how you hand a QB a 96 million dollar contract and then give him a mediocre derriere OL is beyond me.

that being said I like Tannehill less and less the more i watch him. he holds onto the ball, even though the OL is donkey dick, he misses open throws the few times he can get a clean pocket, but most of all, he sounds like a freaking hoo-ha.

between the Practice squad check comment and then him pretending hes a Debutante , giving Pryor a lecture on class.

yeah, freak that player of the pink oboe. i hope he sinks that faggoty franchise even further into a Jimmy Buffet song.

If we could play the Dolphins every week this season would be going pretty great.

I'd rather the Colts keep losing than the Texans because we own the tiebreaker over them.
