Yes. Today is the only game that's been played this season. K THX.
Oh. I'm sorry, this is a thread about today's game. I thought.

If Smith catches both of those passes, you wouldn't have anything to say.

Take a peak back at the stuff before the season when everyone was celebrating Geno's injury. And while you're at it go back to when we drafted a monotone WR in the second round.

It almost seems to have been a waste to have spent like crazy on the secondary and gotten Marshall at this point.  It's all hindsight.  Almost like putting a brand new roof over a crackhouse.

Their contracts are easily disposable after this season, we needed to find players for the long run while remaining competitive.

I'd take around 20-25 QBs in the NFL today over Fitz. That's not cutting it anymore

You'd take Teddy Bridgewater over him and that says it all.

If Fitzpatrick is incomprehensibly bad, what does that make the QB play of 2012-14? Apocalyptically bad?

What the hell does that have to do with anything? Doesn't mean Fitz is any good. Fitz is a 32 (about to be 33) year old journeyman with no arm strength. Even if he was average we clearly need a better solution

Fitzpatrick willed us to the last TD, the INT on 4th down hard to hold against him. Wasn't perfect but he played well enough to win.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

His injury was great for this franchise.

No, we don't. We have a guy who makes the big mistake. Can he make great throws? Yeah, absolutely. He can also make throws that kill a team, which he does regularly. You can't win with ineptitude at QB, no matter how many pretty deep balls he throws.

He's a chucker. An 8-8, consistently volatile chucker. It's all he's ever been, and it's all he'll ever be.
No, nothing is ever his fault, blame everyone else.

Fitz was decent today. Everyone else around him sucked today. But just because we like Fitz for his toughness and his beard doesn't mean that we should completely ignore his shortcomings.

Fitz is an upgrade over what we've had the last few years but that has more to do with Sanchize and Geno than Fitz.

This is such a stupid derriere knock on him.  He makes plenty of throws into tight windows.  A different QB doesn't catch the football for Smith or Marshall.

It's all the same garbage. Thinking we can stand pat and be successful will only create the same conversation next year.
