Jets work out Dri Archer

Quote
Free agent return specialist Dri Archer worked out for the Jets on Tuesday.

It's Archer's first workout since getting waived by the Steelers two weeks ago. Archer doesn't have a position on offense, so he'll have to revive his career on special teams.

Dude's been a fumble machine in the pros. Even if so, still worth it

He hasn't been the best, but we could use some speed...especially on special teams.

I'm not sure, I'd prefer Zac Stacy returning kicks on crutches. Better yet, maybe we can get Willie Colon back there

I loved Dri in college. He did absolutely nothing in Pittsburgh, but we sorely need speed on this offense.

We really need somebody who is lightning fast and shifty as freak to return kicks. Archer has the lightning fast part down. But the fumblitis worries me.
Need a new one for a new board...

Or to play for my flag football team
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

I prefer lame field position to turnovers. Too bad we got both from Smith on returns.

If Cromartie is healthy, let him return kicks.

I agree.  He seems to do fairly well on returns, and he isn't exactly the irreplaceable CB he was in past years.

So much for that.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

Lol I'm waving the white flag on the whole offense.

Carpenter,Kerley, Powell, Fitzpatrick are meeting expectations.

Everyone else can eat a dick.

I really hope "Coach Todd" found a pair of balls and laid into them. Staring at an expressionless wax figure while games slip through their fingers was getting old .

Aa far as archer goes. freak it. Find a role .

His fumbles wpuld only make the ST marginally worse at this point with finally having tge feeling we could take one back.

Cro returning KO is the only time I've expected anything from our ST since Westhoff left

Decker has been quite good too, Marshall is playing through injuries. Ivory seems to be back to form but for some idiotic reason they gave him like 8 touches last game.
