Favourite non-Jets players

I'm going to have to go with Clay Matthews. Love watching that guy play, and he comes across as being a top bloke as well.

If I had to pick one, it'd be AJ Green.

Ryan Mathews, Tyrann Mathieu, and Nuk Hopkins are a few others.

Gotta say Ngata. I'm holding out hope that Rex can steal him from the Ravens when (if) he's a free agent in 2016.

Assuming Rex is still here himself.

Philip Rivers.  Went to my alma mater and aside from his douchy on field demeanor he's a good family guy. Smart qb.

Why would the Jets sign him and why would he want to sign with the Jets?

He'd be a backup at NT or DE.  He'll probably retire when the Ravens are done with him.

Yeah.  Rivers is a practicing Catholic.  I think he has like 38 kids now.  He was married and had a kid in college.  The married part is unusual.  The kid part....not so much.

Adrian Peterson, Brandon Marshall (since he's gotten help), Aaron Rodgers

I like Dez Bryant too. Guy gets a bad rap when it's not warranted.

A lot of ESPN commentators keep comparing Derek Carr to Philip Rivers because he's married and has a kid...plus they both shattered records and have cannon arms.

He's going to be 32 in his current projected free agent year.

Pryce and Reed both came here to play half a season and end their careers here. I think Ngata could certainly have another 3 very good years after he's done with his current deal.

I guess it will really depend on their cap situation and Terrance Cody development.

I'm not going to try to project 2016 free agency, it's way too far ahead.

I just know Ngata is a monster and Ravens guys love Rex.

The Ngata thing is probably unlikely, just because I think he gets extended. Now Suggs on the other hand... Hes expendable with Upshaw and Dumervil locked up for a while. Especially considering that our LB situation isnt a strength, and Pace is on his way out. But Suggs is very likely to hit the UFA while playing at a very high level, so I think its more likely he seeks a pretty good contract as a 32 year old pass rusher
