Trevor_Pryce: Ed is a coach on the field. The more guys you have like that, the better.

No, he's going to play on passing downs and Allen will likely come off.

Dawan Landry will slide to strong safety when this happens.

I expect his snaps to be pretty limited as a Jet.  Allen will probably play more unless Reed surprises.

I know.  I just don't like the idea of stunting Allens on the field education.  However,  having Reed mentor him is worth it.

"I would play anywhere with Rex:  in a dark alley, on the street, in high school football, or a sandlot...anywhere.  I love Rex and always will." - Ed Reed

I really hope Rex coaches here at least another 15 years

Hopefully he still sees plenty of snaps since we had a little bit of a safety-by-committee thing going on anyway.

This just in.....anytime I say something won't likely happen, assume it 100% will happen.

Also, Tom Brady will NOT be out for the year due to anal tearing from gay butt secks.

There a very few things I don't like about Rex as a head coach, and I hope the only way he isn't our head coach is if he kubiaks and doesn't make it.

I wonder how much safety chemistry together makes a difference on the field

Reed and Landry were nasty together in Baltimore for 5 years

He's obviously going to be a captain next week.

Think he gets #20 from Wilson? #24 is available.

Yeah,  Allen was staying on more and more though.  Don't get me wrong, I will take Reed's mentorship over Allen playing everyday of the week.  I personally feel Reed and Allen is a better fit than Reed and Landry.

What week can the NFL start flexing games?  Have to think they'd want the jets ravens game to be prime time.

I think the jets realize how important the Ravens game is to their playoff hopes.  They are the major competition at this point.  Beating them makes it awful hard for the Ravens.  What better scout for the Ravens could you have than Ed Reed?

5 years of practing and studying together everyday

They might not pick up where they left off, but the trust is going to be completely there. And I think it's impossible that their chemistry together isn't better than Landry + almost any other safety on the roster
