I'm sure a separate rule could govern that sort of thing without being eyeblack specific. Most players just want to rep their home area code.

OK. Where's the line? We've established that religious messages are not acceptable, and that family messages are. What about PRAY 4DAD?
The point is, it's much easier just to say no to all of it than it is to negotiate each one separately.
