it used to be like that...play for an hour or two, and then turn it off.  The games and tech have gotten so complex that you need to book a few days off work to sit and play it properly.

Maybe it's just me, but I find that most of the games I play, are like the games I play.

Sure if you're one of those people who plays anything and everything I absolutely see you wasting a fair amount of time with learning curves

I think gaming has gotten streamlined to the point that everyone's making clones of the same games. Not to mention most of the biggest sellers are series that have come out with 10-20 different sequels over decades

How do you guys find time to play video games?  I don't think i sat down to play one in 3 years.  I think i finally became my dad.
I didn't have time until my kids became old enough to play too.

Hades is on sale until 12/1. Someone sell me on it.

I've talked about this a couple of times. I love this game. You have to keep dying to continue the story. And the more you do, the more powerful you become. Also, the weapons are so much fun, especially the hulk fists. I really enjoy the characters and the story that's unfolding.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

I'm much the same, I tend to only play games when I can immerse myself for a few hours at a time which is why I go months at a time without turning the console on. Lots of people seem to be able to just pick up and play for a hour or two at a time though.

Same here. I play when I have a couple of hours to spare and don't have it in me to do anything "productive."

i ended up succumbing and buying hades and assassin's creed valhalla for the ps5 that i do not own yet. i figure that by the time i get to a point where i could even play those games, i'd have been able to find a ps5 by that time

might do the same for ghosts of tsushima and FF7

This is very true. First “real” well known PS5 title to be a PS+ if memory serves.

I heard it was awful, but when it’s free it’s not a bad thing to try out
Need a new one for a new board...

I rented it when it was brand new

The game looks gorgeous, and was really fun to play for < 10 hours

But got super repetitive.
Presumably in the last year they've added quite a bit of tweaking, there's definitely been a fair amount of new content

Don’t worry you have time to unretire. That’s a Quantic Dream game, given the comment about “early” development, I’d wager it’s.a minimum three years out. Check back for this Holiday 2024.
