That Portland/KC match was one of the most intense games I've ever watched. KC scores at the end of regulation to draw, takes the lead in the first 15 of extra time, then allows the Timbers to draw with about 2 minutes left.

Then, the PKs go 11 rounds, all the way to keepers taking shots and the Timbers pull it out. Holeee excrement. Not the most beautiful footie I've seen played, but, damn, what a match.

I was really pulling for Sporting.  The only knockout match that went the way I wanted was DC over NE, and I'm hoping DC now gets its excrement pushed in.  Dallas Columbus would be my ideal final now or Dallas Red Bulls.

I love Mourinho and I think Abramovic handled that whole thing really badly, and it would be great to see him take over at a rival club and be immensely successful, but it would be a bit harsh on LVG to replace him right now.
