I was just randomly thinking about my own answer to this question and figured that there isn't much going on right now so I'd pose it to you all. I'm a subscriber to the theory that fans root for laundry. Guys who are on my team: I love; guys who aren't: I loathe. Darrelle Revis is probably the best example of both sides of that coin.

But there are players on other teams I don't loathe, and rather really like. Guys who I'd only root against when they're playing my favorite team and even then I wouldn't actively dislike. My list:

I just appreciate a bunch of players that are on another level, most are all around great, I missed Datsyuk who really is my favorite player on another team.

Most are defensemen that play the modern game and are not remnants of the 1970's that are trash nowadays but everyone loves because tuffness. Stralman isn't an all star but should be.

Hahaha, the Sanchize. I don't wish anything bad on him, but it would kind of suck if he turns into a good QB now.

I like Scherzer. Not enough to put him on my list yet, but I do like him.

I think it's interesting that each basketball listing has Curry. Even people I talk to offline love him.
