Fair enough.  Short version: Dad was born in NY, adopted in NJ, taken to California.  Found out when my grandfather passed away when I was 8.  Grandmother was a bitch, dad's childhood sucked.  I became obsessed with the family we never had and with NY.  Got into all the NY teams, watched Yankee games at Angel Stadium, so I didn't care about the Mets.  First NFL game I went to was Jets at Rams, so bye bye Giants.  Got more into the Jets than anything else.

My dad is a NY sports fan- Yankees and Rangers, but never had an affiliation to a football team. I grew up watching both teams on Sunday and became a Jets fan because of Curtis Martin and hating bundle of sticks patriots and giants fans.

Honestly became a Jets fan because, I never could get into the Giants because their fans in my neighborhood were a bunch of fuckwads. The first football game I ever saw was a snooze fest Giants game. I actually started rooting for the Cowboys but freak them too.

Then I met Klecko and he was a really cool dude and I got a bunch of posters from 7 Eleven of Klecko, Gastineau, and Lance Mehl. My hell started then. Hahaha if only the neighborhood kids weren't fuckwad Giants fans lol.

Actually, I am happy because I never would have met any if you mega assholes.

My non biological dad is a huge Giants fan, and took my mom to watch a practice during training camp nearly 30 years ago.  My mom naturally got bored during the practice and told my dad she was going to take a walk around and find the bathroom.  On her way to the bathroom she ran into one of the Giants training members and they started chatting.  One thing led to another and they ended up.... yeah.

So my mom ends up getting pregnant finds out it's not her husband's and doesn't tell him until after I was born.  Understandably my dad has hated the Giants ever since and always had me rooting for the Jets.  My parents told me who my real dad was when I was 14.  We talk every once in a while, but don't really stay in touch.
