The difference that as bad as Zach was after that Patriots game, he could at least complete some forward passes. You just had to prep a backup plan, especially since the rest of the roster was good, and it was so early in the season.

The Giants just paid Jones a ton of money, and he was always going to be the guy as long as he was healthy. Most teams don't have 3 quality quarterbacks, which is why I was fine with Zach entering the year as a backup. We just got unlucky that he had to play so early and for so long.
