Pre-Draft Injuries
« on: April 23, 2015, 10:29:13 AM »
Ray will be out at least five months.  This absolutely crushes his draft stock and will probably push him into the second round.

This years consensus top 10 pick as the college football season ends who takes a massive stock hit as the months go by.

Pretty interesting that both of the hyped up guys played at Missouri.

It sucks this happened to Ray.  Dorial Green-Beckham got what he deserved.

Bargain in the second? Assuming it isn't a lingering thing longterm.

Imagine getting Cooper and Ray without trades.

I'd be all over this like flies on excrement.

I find it hard to believe Ray ever gets past the Patriots if he drops to the bottom of the 1st. He's one of my favorite players in this draft though.

Turf toe sounds like such a hoo-ha injury.

Not quite as gay sounding as tennis elbow.

Hmm wonder if we would trade up for him, assuming we draft something else (ie wr)  in the first.

Would anyone be upset if we basically traded our draft for Cooper + ray?

Would you?
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

I'd actually be a fan of the move.

Sacrifice depth for high end talent at key positions

How about not going full retard, drafting Kevin White and Eli Harold, and keeping the rest of our picks?

Giving up a 2nd 3rd and 4th isn't bad value for a top 10 talent.

It's possible it might only take a 2nd and 3rd to move up enough to bag him

Otherwise we might be looking at spending a first or 2nd yet again next year to address the position. Address it, address it right and move on.

We have too many old guys at the position with no contingency plan

freak Shane Ray.

now I don't have to worry about drafting him at 6.

If he fell to the 2nd pick (he wont)

I'd be fine.

and freak no to trading up for him.

I don't like him enough to sacrifice our 3rd and potentially 4th in a trade up

Beasely/Duke/wr

Sounds better

Or

Cooper/Harold/David Johnson

Shane Ray has potential for sure, I just don't want him at 6 and don't feel like sacrificing depth for him.
