Can we get this man to the Pro Bowl? 23/23 on the year.

After yesterday Nick Folk is 81.6% on FGs in his Jets career (and 85.7% from under 50 yards). If he makes his next attempt, he'll tie Feely's record for most consecutive FGs made by a Jets kicker.

Hoping for a perfect season might be a little too much to ask considering the winds of the Meadowlands, but it would be pretty great.

I just want him to break Jay Feely's tackling record.

It's more important.

Folk is clearly the team's MVP.

Our DL has been money...but having a clutch kicker can't be overlooked.  Especially with this franchise....my memory is still infested with the kicking cancer Doug Brien put there.

I've been a Folk fan since he came here but what's really impressed me this year is the distance on his kicks. He's hitting 40+ yarders with 10+ yards to spare. And he's doing it in the swamp.

The most interesting part is the movement on his kicks. It's like a whacked out curveball. It swings far to the right, then suddenly dives left.

Folk Hero.

Does anyone know what his % is on game-winning kicks? Not something I want to pore over and compile myself right now, was hoping someone already worked it out.

When the final score differential is 7 or less points, he's 100% in PATs (96/96) and 81.7% on FG attempts (76/93) during his career.

He's had 34 go-ahead and 15 tying FGs in his career. I don't know the percentage.

I can't remember a time when he's missed with the game on the line.

From /r/nfl's power rankings:

"There are four kickers with 100% accuracy left in the NFL: two of them are 10 for 10, one is 12 for 12, and Nick Folk is 23 for 23."

He may have a 100% field goal percentage, but he has whiffed on at least one tackle, he's a bum.

Seriously, he hasn't missed an important kick since he has been here, the guy is $$$ and every year they bring someone in to bust his balls.

One of the complaints was Feely tackled people, it was pretty comical. Folk has been a way better kicker here.

I remember someone, and I think it was Iggy, on TGG trying to tell everyone about the coach that Folk worked with to improve once his time ended in Dallas.

I'm not going to lie, I liked Feeley, but I wasn't completely "Folk-this!" The guy can kick. Jerry Jones is just a moron.

The part about bringing in competition for him is laughable. I wonder if he just thinks "Yeah, okay. Good luck, buddy" whenever someone shows up to compete with him.

I think I remember Dallas bailing on him because of a hip injury. Maybe they thought he wouldn't recover.

Yeah he struggled for a year because a hip injury altered his form.
