Remember me? The Revenge of Chris Ivory

http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/30606/ivory-nabs-139-yards-vs-old-team

Quote
“You could tell this was different, that it wasn't just another regular season game for him,” wide receiver David Nelson said. “He's not very talkative, but you could see the way he was running, the way he was paying attention. I'm not saying he doesn't always pay attention, but you could see the look in his eyes.”

Quote
“I know it meant a lot to him,” kick returner Josh Cribbs said, “because he’s making them kick themselves in the butt like ‘Aw, look at him he’s running all over us.’ Everybody wants to do good against their old team.”

Quote
“We know if he’s healthy, this young man has the ability to be a punch-you-in-the-face type of back,” Ryan said.

Quote
“It’s my old team,” Ivory said, and he smiled in a way that conveyed some pride. “I’m not satisfied. I’m happy but I don’t think you can ever get too satisfied with your performance. Hopefully we can continue to do that and make the playoffs.”

---

18 carries for 139 yards (7.7 YPC) and 1 TD against his former team.

Given that he was hurt and wasn't utilized too much earlier in the season, he should be fresh for the stretch run and hopefully the playoffs.

I bet Cribbs has 12/22 circled on his calendar.

I'm a little nervous though. What's Rex's record after the BYE week?

I would give you some numbers, but I'm supposedly quiet after the Jets win.

1-3.

In 09 they had that weird loss to the Jaguars, in 2010 a loss to the Champion Green Bay Packers. A win in 2011 against the Bills. A loss last season to the Seahawks who were one of the best teams in the league.

The Bills are next. They have Jeff freaking Tuel.

Read NDMick's post. There's really only one loss where we should have won.
