That was blown out of proportion by the media.  Apparently "we can move up or down" = "Jets will move up for Mariota"

I am amused that Badger corrected the way I wrote MacCagnan's name. I'm sorry, it's not my fault that he doesn't write his own name correctly.

You are wrong.

It's a Scottish name. Mac/Mc, just like the Irish O', means "son of". MacCagnan means Son of Cagnan, and and as Cagnan would be a proper noun it should be capitalised.

It's no longer a proper noun.

How isn't it?

Because one of his ancestors decided it wasn't.

Maccagnan on OL:

Quote
“I think historically when you look at teams that are successful, one of the things that they do in the draft is they find value in offensive linemen prospects that they can kind of groom and develop. They don’t have to always be high picks,” he said. “A lot of teams are very successful building good offensive lines through the draft through picks from the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh round and sometimes even college free agents.”
He shook my hand breed tub and walked away

As the only Scottish landowner and Lord in this forum, I have to weigh in.

You are wrong.
