better a washed-up Bardy, than a prime Lamar Jackson.

Zolak has to stay relevant too.  No one gives a excrement about the Pats* anymore.

I don't like an Xavien Howard/Jalen Ramsey tandem.

EDIT: And i REALLY don't like that i just remembered Vic Fangio is their new DC.

Trade is now agreed to, per sources:

🏈Dolphins get Pro Bowl CB Jalen Ramsey.

🏈Rams get 2023 third-round pick (No. 77) and TE Hunter Long.

Trade will be processed Wednesday, when league year begins.

The Dolphins are desperate to win while Tua is still cheap/healthy.

I hope we get the Dolphins late in the season. That's a damn good team if Tua is healthy.

I don't think Miami picking up his 5th year option is a bad move at all

The guy has shown he can be a competent if not solid QB when healthy. Having the 5th year option just buys them another year before making a major commitment. It's similar to the Giants situation. I'm sure they'd love to have had an extra year evaluating Daniel Jones before giving him that monster deal.

And I think the alternative to this would have been Miami just tagging him and having to seriously contemplate giving him a contract bigger than Jones
